Regarding In-vehicle parts, we received a request for cost reduction by changing the material from conventional copper to aluminum for the purpose of reducing the weight of bus bars for EVs of Company K , and also by changing the manufacturing method from cutting to die casting.
With regard to this electroless nickel plating on aluminum die-casting, we have been able to solve each problem one by one by gradually scaling up from small-lot production on manual lines to mass production on automatic lines. We were able to achieve stable quality at a low cost, just as we were able to respond to materials.
