Hard Silver (Ag) plating (MC-11HS)

The function of hard silver plating is high-hardness silver plating with excellent wear resistance.
Developed for charging terminals of electric vehicles (EV) and plug-in hybrids (PHV).
Conventional silver plating film hardness is about Hv80 to 110, but the film hardness of hard silver plating is as high as about Hv155 (-5/+15). Therefore, it has superior slidability and wear resistance compared to the conventional silver plating film.
In addition, contact resistance and discoloration resistance in sulfide gas tests are equivalent to conventional silver plating films.

In particular, we hope that our hard silver plating can be used to reduce the thickness of the silver plating film in places where conventional silver plating was used to create a thick film.
Recently, we have also expanded to connectors for industrial equipment that require ease of insertion and removal.
