Electroless Nickel Boron Tungsten Plating
Electroless nickel boron tungsten plating is a ternary alloy plating film deposited through electroless plating. The film has excellent heat resistance and wear resistance, with a hardness of Hv800 in the as plated state, and by adding heat treatment, it changes to a hardness comparable to hard chrome plating (about Hv1000). It also has the advantage of a low coefficient of thermal expansion.
